UI/UX Design mobile app Hychiny's Hut

Project overview
The product:
Hychiny’s Hut is a snack shop in an amusement park that has opened its branches and provided delivery within the city of Pyatigorsk. Hychiny’s Hut strives to please its customers with national Caucasian and healthy snacks. Hychiny’s Hut are focused on customers, in addition to direct sales at points that use food/snack delivery services at home, who don’t have the time, opportunity or desire to cook.

Project duration:
May to  June 2023

Responsibilities:
Conducting interviews, paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, conducting usability studies, accounting for accessibility, and iterating on designs.
Understanding the user
I conducted interviews and created empathy maps in order to understand the users for whom I design, as well as their needs.  A primary user group identified through research was adults who are not proficient in technology.

This group of users confirmed the initial assumptions about Hychiny’s Hut customers, but the study also showed that skills were not the only factor limiting users in making delivery.
Other user concerns included obligations, interests, or issues that made it difficult to purchase snacks on their own.
Wireframes
Taking the time to draft iterations of each screen of the app on paper ensured that the elements that made it to digital wireframes would be well-suited to address user pain points.
As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base screen designs on feedback and findings from the user research.
